President of the Patriot Fund, Sean Bosken (far left, front row), presented a $77,500 check to Heaven on Earth for Veterans, Inc, one of our 2023 Operational Partners! Accepting the check is HOEV Executive Director Carol Barkalow. Also in attendance was the HOEV Board of Directors. The Patriot Fund has donated over $100,000 to HOEV in the past two years! The Patriot Fund partners with Veteran-centric non-profit organizations who are making a substantial impact on the lives of Veterans. DoMA Home Furnishings conducted a promotion that ran from November 26th through January 17th. HOEV was one of three charities chosen to be part of the promotion. Clients donated to their choice of charities and in exchange DoMA provided them a discount on their purchase. Bob and Donna Ritchie recently donated $5000 to HOEV. The Ritchie's know a little bit about giving back. They are the founders of the Ritchie Hockey Foundation that annually provides scholarships to young hockey players. The foundation was started in honor of their son Jason who loved hockey. Since meeting HOEV Executive Director Carol Barkalow and Director Ian O'Connell, the Ritchie's have been avid supporters. Thanks so much Bob and Donna. We hope you can find everything you need. Heaven on Earth for Veterans, Inc. is focused on providing high-quality, low cost, living space for veterans in need. We include all household equipment from silverware to linens to pots and pans to laundry facilities.
Veterans lease private bedrooms and share the common living areas. The cost of renting a bedroom ranges from $400 to $600 per month. All utilities are included as well as cable and internet access.
